National Constitution 1) That the name shall be Australian Technical Millers Association. 2) The objects of the Association shall be to coordinate the activities of the various Divisions of the Association and, where necessary, to represent those Divisions in a National or International capacity. 3) Membership shall be limited to the Divisions of the Australian Technical Millers Association, and they shall be represented by two (2) voting delegates from each of the Divisions of the Australian Technical Millers Association at all meetings. Non-voting delegates, appointed by the Division, may attend Australian Technical Millers Association meetings. 4) The Association may, with the agreement of all member Divisions, raise levies on those Divisions, for such purposes and in such manner as may be agreed. 5) Meetings of the Australian Technical Millers Association will be held at each Biennial Conference, or at any other time when two (2) Divisions request a meeting. The Chairman will convene a meeting at a suitable date and venue, not more than four (4) weeks from the date of such requisition, and shall give Divisions at least ten (10) days notice of such meetings. 6) A quorum shall be at least one (1) voting delegate, or proxy, from each Division. 7) The Australian Technical Millers Association shall elect, at least one (1) in every two (2) years, from its Divisional delegates, a Chairman and a Secretary/Treasurer. 8) To amend this Constitution, it shall be necessary for a Division to give notice of such amendment to the Secretary, who will circulate the amendment to all Divisions for consideration at the next meeting of the Australian Technical Millers Association, called not less than eight (8) weeks after the date of notice of such amendment. ************************************ |
